A Honger is someone who loves Hong Kong culture. You don't even have to be born in Hong Kong to be a Honger. If you enjoy Honger food, listen to cantopop, watch Hong Kong films, or just simply love Hong Kong people, then you're probably a Honger, and that's awesome, because I've been a honger like.. forever, and we're awsome, and we're all over the world.

Who is Benji Chiang?
Benji Chiang is a Hong Kong artist, film maker and musician. Creator of HongerLand, he is the first artist to draw and animate his own 8-bit music videos frame by frame in Pixel-Art. Growing up in the 80s, Benji is a huge fan of retrogaming, vintage films and comic books, and is an avid collector of 1:12 scale action figures.
Benji has been a Honger since birth, and has been a Honger for life. HongerLand was created as a shout out to Hongers and Honger-lovers from around the globe, no matter which generation you are from, because we all grew up together. Benji works in Pixel-Art because it reminds him of the best times growing up in the 80s and 90s, when everything in life seem to be much more fun and enjoyable. If you want a blast of Hong Kong life, or a touch of nostalgia, HongerLand is for you.
